Noel Fielding has been on our screens for years, so at this point, the 50 year old is pretty much a national treasure. While his Gen Z fans probably know him best for being a presenter on The Great British Bake Off, the majority of his millennial fans, including me, think of him as Vince Noir from the surrealism comedy series, The Mighty Boosh. Both TV ventures - despite being completely different - have captured his artsy style, so it's no surprise that Noel has been described many times as an alternative icon.

Fans of The Great British Bake Off were left shocked recently, as host Noel Fielding revealed his age.The Bake Off presenter appeared alongside co-host Matt Lucas while letting the bakers know what their next task would be, and hinted at the fact that he and Matt were nearing their 50s.

Noel Fielding and his wife, radio presenter Lliana Bird have announced the arrival of their second child.

Writing on Instagram, the baking fan shared recipes with followers, and announced the news of her pregnancy.Posting a picture of herself holding one of her dishes she wrote: “I’ve actually been baking a little something myself this lockdown so I’m starting my mat leave from @radiox this week, and whilst i’ll keep on posting my lazy mum recipes for you all here on insta, I’m also delighted that @pollyjames will be keeping my show seat warm in the coming months on the #SundayChill.

Instagram where she also took the time to share the couple’s happy news.The presenter looked radiant in a polka dot jumpsuit that showed off her growing baby bump.In the caption, she explained: ‘Been baking a little something of my own throughout lockdown so as i’m taking some leave from my Radio X show that hopefully means i’ll have a little more time (ha!) to post these recipes for bubbas more regularly in the coming months.’  A post shared by Birdy x (@llianabird) on Aug 6, 2020 at 7:47am
