A second Downton Abbey movie is currently in the works and Focus Features has announced a new release date for the film.

Focus Features is shifting Downton Abbey 2 from Dec. 22 to Friday, March 18, 2022. Universal Pictures International will release internationally on the same date.

After much anticipation, we have some good news for Downton Abbey fans! The popular franchise will officially get another movie and will be released in just a few months! The original cast is all returning for the new film, set to be released on December 22, 2021.

Downton Abbey is returning to the big screen as a second movie has been confirmed to be released this Christmas. Hollywood heartthrob Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West will be joining the cast in the sequel of Downton Abbey.
