EXCLUSIVE: Enola Homes breakout Louis Partridge has closed a deal with Legendary to star in Ferryman, an epic fantasy romance film, adapted from the internationally bestselling YA novel trilogy by Scottish author Claire McFall.

“ Venom: Let There Be Carnage ” is best when it’s not trying to be a comic book movie.That fact may not bode especially well for future spinoffs and integrations within the so-called “Spider-Verse,” but one senses that director Andy Serkis, screenwriter Kelly Marcel and star/producer Tom Hardy are aware of this weakness.

Tom Hardy is reprising his role in the upcoming sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which will finally be released after lots of delays due to the pandemic.

Apple TV+ has made it abundantly clear that it is really only interested in original films and TV series that have superstar talent attached. That would include the newest series, “The Changeling,” which has just received the green light from the streaming service.

Apple TV+ has confirmed a series order for The Changeling, a drama based on Victor LaValle’s best-selling book of the same name, with LaKeith Stanfield (Atlanta, Judas and The Black Messiah) set to star. Kelly Marcel (Cruella, Venom) wrote the adaptation and serves as showrunner. Queen & Slim helmer and Insecure alum Melina Matsoukas will direct.

Venom 2.The actor, due to reprise his role as Eddie Brock/Venom, has been credited with a role working on the sequel’s story with screenwriter Kelly Marcel.Marcel recently told Empire about Hardy’s new role behind-the-scenes in the new film, having worked with him for almost 20 years.“This is new for him, to get credit,” she said. “But it’s not new for him to be this involved.

Believe it or not, as much as Tom Hardy has been involved in the creation of the “Venom” film franchise, the actor didn’t have any story or writing credits in the first film. However, with the upcoming “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” it appears the actor is getting his first-ever “story by” credit for his contributions to the film.

This is a first for Tom Hardy!
