Starring The IT Crowd’s Katherine Parkinson and Home’s Youssef Kerkour, Significant Other tells the story of two neighbours who are thrown together by unusual circumstances.The six-part drama sees Sam, played by Youssef, waiting to die, after swallowing a cabinet full of pills, when he’s interrupted by his neighbour, Anna, Katherine’s character. Anna is having a heart attack and needs to wait with him until help arrives.

ITV has greenlit an adaptation of Israeli drama Significant Other with Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour leading, along with a feature-length Plebs, an AI impressionist show and a number of other comedies.
