HBO Max has dropped the first full-length trailer of Peter Billingsley in his return as Ralphie in the upcoming A Christmas Story Christmas, the sequel to the classic holiday pic A Christmas Story. The film begins streaming on HBO Max on November 17. The poster and photos are below.

EXCLUSIVE: Airplane! writer-directors David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker are teaming up with a cast of celebrities and industry figures to chronicle the making of the influential hit 1980 comedy.

The Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts at the Saban Theatre, the largest arts and entertainment synagogue in the U.S., is offering complimentary seating to striking members of the Writers Guild and SAG-AFTRA and their immediate families for its High Holy Day Services on Rosh Hashanah (September 15 and 16) and Yom Kippur (September 24 and 25). Tickets for non-Temple members for both services normally cost $500 each.

In 1979 Peter Falk and the late great Alan Arkin made the perfect odd couple in the classic action comedy, The In-Laws. It even spawned a not-bad remake with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks in 2003. The difference between those films, and a bit of an attempt to do something similar in the cleverly-titled The Out-Laws, which starts streaming on Netflix today, is that those movies were genuinely funny, particularly the Arkin-Falk teaming, but this one, also a kind of Meet The Parents on steroids, relies far too heavily on non-stop and incessant action scenes to carry us through its 95 minute running time.

Oh, Fudge!Actor Peter Billingsley has returned to his “A Christmas Story” roots as his character Ralphie — almost 40 years later.Billingsley, 51, portrayed Ralphie Parker in the 1983 Christmas flick and the adult version is back for HBO Max’s sequel.The upcoming “A Christmas Story Christmas” drops on the streamer on Nov. 17, however, a quick 30-second trailer debuted Monday.The brief clip showcases a young Ralphie and then quickly cuts to a flash of the older character as he returns to his hometown for the Christmas season.The new movie will revolve around Ralphie bringing his own kids home for the holidays on Cleveland street in the 1970s.

It’s taken nearly 30 years, but the long-awaited sequel to “A Christmas Story” finally has a release date.

EXCLUSIVE: Erinn Hayes, River Drosche and Julianna Layne are set to join the cast of the Warner Bros. and Legendary’s A Christmas Story Christmas, the sequel to the classic holiday pic A Christmas Story, which will premiere on HBO Max. Deadline first reported that Julie Hagerty was in talks to join and sources now confirm she has also closed a deal to join the cast.  Peter Billingsley, who played Ralphie in the original, is set to return with Ian Petrella, Zack Ward, Scott Schwartz and R.D. Robb also reprising their roles from the original. The script was written by Nick Schenk, who also will executive produce, with Clay Kaytis on board to direct. Billingsley and Vince Vaughn will produce through their Wild West Picture Show productions. Cale Boyter and Jay Ashenfelter will oversee for Legendary.

While Christmas has come and gone, Legendary and Warner Bros. are looking to give a belated gift to us all as sources tell Deadline the two companies have closed a deal for Peter Billingsley to star in A Christmas Story Christmas, a sequel to the holiday classic A Christmas Story, which will premiere on HBO Max. While not confirmed sources add Airplane star Julie Hagerty will play Billingsley’s mother. The script was written by Nick Schenk, who will also executive produce, and Clay Kaytis will direct. Billingsley will also produce along with his partner Vince Vaughn through their Wild West Picture Show productions. Cale Boyter and Jay Ashenfelter will oversee for Legendary. Production is set to start at the end of February in Bulgaria.

Haley Joel Osment, Amy Sedaris, Danny Pudi, and Zoe Chao are just four of the stars who have joined Dave Franco’s upcoming film, Somebody I Used to Know.

Julie Hagerty, Haley Joel Osment, Amy Sedaris, Danny Pudi, Zoe Chao, Evan Jonigkeit, Olga Merediz, Ayden Mayeri and Kelvin Yu have been added to the cast of Somebody I Used to Know, the Amazon original film being directed by Dave Franco and starring Alison Brie, Jay Ellis and Kiersey Clemons.
