The potential new Greg Daniels and Michael Komancomedy series in The Office universe has locked in its first two stars: Domhnall Gleeson (The Patient) and Sabrina Impacciatore (White Lotus), who will be part of an ensemble, sources close to production tell Deadline. Details regarding their roles are under wraps. The Office studio Universal Television declined to comment, other than to confirm that the project remains in development.

Oscar Isaac has a new project lined up. Isaac is starring in “In the Hands of Dante,” a crime thriller film directed by Oscar nominee Julian Schnabel and produced by Martin Scorsese. It will co-star Jason Momoa and Gerard Butler, reports Deadline.

Martin Scorsese is set to executive produce the next movie from director Julian Schnabel, “In The Hand of Dante,” based on Nick Tosches‘ novel. It’s a feature that focuses on New York mobsters getting their hands on a manuscript of Dante’s “The Divine Comedy,” which would be considered one of the most rare and valuable pieces of art in existence.

Unlike so many of his friends, and indeed his wife,  Nahal Tajadod, Carrière notes, he will have the privilege of being buried in the same place where he was born.

John Hopewell Chief International CorrespondentJosé Luis López Linares’ “Goya, Carrière and the Ghost of Buñuel,” a portrait of French film great Jean-Claude Carrière, captured breaking down the paintings and personality of painter Francisco de Goya, has been acquired for international sales by Reservoir Docs.In its earliest sales, the doc feature has closed the two biggest markets in Europe with reputed distributors, licensing France to Epicentre and Germany and Austria to Weltkino.  Launched in 2020 by Anais Clanet, Reservoir Docs will bring the documentary feature onto the market at next month’s Cannes Festival.“Reservoir Docs has always been a key sales agent for theatrical art & culture docs and Jose Luis’ work fits perfectly,” said Clanet.
