Lionsgate released on Thursday a trailer for the adaptation, starring Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Benny Safdie and Abby Ryder Fortson.Set in the early ’70s, big changes are in store for 11-year-old Margaret Simon (Ryder Fortson) when her family leaves New York City for the suburbs of New Jersey, just as she’s on the cusp of adolescence.

The Sony Adam Driver sci-fi movie 65 is moving onto the opening weekend of New Line’s Shazam: Fury of the Gods, March 17-19. The Scott Beck-Bryan Woods movie was previously dated for March 10, 2023.

Update: With the lack of major studio product in the fall, and Lionsgate’s Judy Blume movie, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret heading to the end of April 2023, Searchlight is going to have a moderate theatrical release with their comedy caper See How They Run, and moving it up to Sept. 16.
