Speaking of serial killers, Cosmopolitan recently spoke to Penn Badgley to see what it's like to portray the murderous bookstore owner, Joe Goldberg. Penn says he never feels convinced that he's actually in Joe's headspace (phew), but when he talks about the character, it's clear that he understands him inside out. That's probably why he can see that one of Joe's most redeemable qualities—his love for books—is actually one of the most dangerous things about him.

Our favourite serial killer Joe Goldberg is back for a second season of You, starring Gossip Girl's very own Penn Badgley. Penn plays the main character in the sinister series, who became deliriously obsessed with his love interest Guinevere Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail, in the first season.
