After its success on Netflix, Call My Agent! is getting a UK remake and it’s coming to Amazon’s Prime Video which is good news for Irish viewers.

Amazon Prime Video has locked UK and Ireland rights to the forthcoming British remake of hit French series Call My Agent!

Call My Agent! has confirmed its cast.Tony-winning actress Lydia Leonard will lead the cast as Rebecca, who will be loosely based on Camille Cottin’s character Andréa Martel – an executive at a leading Paris-based actors’ agency. She will face off against rival agents and picky clients played by Pirates Of The Caribbean actor Jack Davenport, Jim Broadbent, Killing Eve‘s Hiftu Quasem and Blackadder‘s Tim McInnerny.

EXCLUSIVE: In recent weeks, intrigue has been building in the UK industry about the local remake of French hit Call My Agent! (Dix Pour Cent in France), but cast and plot details have been a tightly guarded secret.

Naman Ramachandran Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning actor Jim Broadbent (“The Duke”) will lead the cast of “The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry,” an adaptation of Rachel Joyce’s bestselling novel. Broadbent will play the eponymous Harold, who embarks upon a 450-mile walk across the U.K.
