Ed Sheeran and Jessie Ware are among the performers at the first fundraiser for the late Jamal Edwards and his recently-formed Self Belief Trust.The hugely influential SB.TV founder passed away in London in February at the age of 31. Ed Sheeran, Chelsea FC and Dave were among those to pay tribute to Edwards.The following month, the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust was set up by his family with an aim to “honour [Edwards’] memory and continue his legacy” through “[supporting] those causes that mattered most to Jamal”: combatting homelessness, supporting people with mental health issues and providing young people with essential life skills.On September 20, the Self Belief Trust will hold its inaugural fundraising event at the new HERE at Outernet venue in central London, hosted by Terry Crews.Alongside prominent music industry figures and former colleagues of Edwards’, Sheeran and Ware will perform alongside Max Cyrus.All funds raised at the event will go to the Self Belief Fund, with a new scheme being set up to tackle homelessness, creating a back-to-work scheme and scholarship programme for young people at risk of homelessness.The event will begin with a champagne reception before a three-course meal and an afterparty including a Roman Kemp DJ set. Disclosure and Jessie Ware are among the latest additions to the line-up of the inaugural MEO KALORAMA Festival in Portugal.The event, which will run from September 1-3, will take place in Bela Vista Park in Lisbon.The Chemical Brothers and Arctic Monkeys will headline the first two nights of MEO KALORAMA (September 1 and 2 respectively), with the likes of Kraftwerk, James Blake, Bonobo, Róisín Murphy, Years & Years and Blossoms also on the bill.MEO KALORAMA have added more names to their line-up this week, with Disclosure set to top the bill on the festival’s final night (September 3).Ware, Jake Shears, Crawlers and the Brazilian artist Marina Sena have also joined the line-up, which further includes Golden Slumbers, Xinobi Live, Club Makumba, Fred, D’Alva and Bruno Pernadas. The Killers to headline Poland’s Open’er Festival 2022

The Killers have been announced as one of the headliners of Poland’s Open’er Festival 2022.The indie rockers join dozens of acts already announced for the festival, which is held at Gdynia-Kosakowo airport, and will top the bill on July 2.Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots, Playboi Carti, Martin Garrix, The Chemical Brothers, Måneskin, Megan Thee Stallion, Glass Animals, Gunna, Clairo, Tove Lo, Little Simz, Jessie Ware, Royal Blood, Years And Years, The Smile and Michael Kiwanuka are all booked for the festival, which runs from June 29-July 2.The Killers previously headlined the 2020 edition of the Polish festival.Open’er Festival is operating in solidarity with Ukraine and says it “will be a place of support for Ukrainians facing the barbaric Russian aggression of their country”.A special initiative “Wspierajmy Ukrainę na koncertach / Support Ukraine at concerts” will take place during the festival to help the actions of Polish Center For International Aid.
