The cast of Broadway’s “Waitress” is serving hope for actor Nick Cordero with a new video.

The Broadway cast of Waitress has covered a song penned by Nick Cordero to encourage donations to his family as he recovers from severe complications of the novel coronavirus. Singer-songwriter and Waitress compser Sara Bareilles joined the cast, including Jessie Mueller, Kimiko Glenn, Keala Seattle,Jenna Ushkowitz and Eric Anderson, to sing Cordero's original song "Live Your Life" over video chat in a video posted on Sunday.

Nick Cordero's Broadway family is rallying around him amid his battle with the coronavirus. The 41-year-old actor originated the role of Earl Hunterson in Sara Bareilles' musical, , and on Sunday, Bareilles, along with the show's original cast, performed Cordero's song, «Live Your Life,» in support of him.

The cast of Waitress brought it all back home this weekend when they (virtually) got together to pay tribute to their struggling former castmate Nick Cordero.

Castmembers from various productions of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical banded together for a socially distanced performance of Carole King's "You've Got a Friend." The video, which was made to raise awareness and funds for The Actors Fund in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, premiered Tuesday on CBS This Morning. The performance features King herself, along with Chilina Kennedy, Abby Mueller and Tony winner Jessie Mueller, among others, singing from inside their homes.
