Theatres will be reopening next month, and the first wide release of the summer will be “The Broken Hearts Gallery”.

Sony’s upcoming movie The Broken Hearts Gallery will be one of the first movies released in theaters this summer!

Sony and TriStar Pictures has acquired the rights to “The Broken Hearts Gallery,” a romantic comedy executive produced by Selena Gomez, that the studio will release on July 10, making it the earliest major studio release of the summer.Geraldine Viswanathan (“Bad Education”) and Dacre Montgomery (“Stranger Things”) co-star in the film that is the directorial debut of Natalie Krinsky.Sony’s release plans put it ahead of Warner Bros. “Tenet,” which has held firm to its July 17 release date.

After her breakout role in the 2018 hit teen comedy Blockers, Geraldine Viswanathan went back to high school in a very different way via Cory Finley’s Bad Education. Based on true events, Viswanathan plays an intrepid student journalist named Rachel Bhargava, who exposes the corruption at the center of the Roslyn school district in Long Island, New York.

A new trailer has dropped for a film titled Bad Education, a movie that was doing the rounds at the late 2019 film festivals, including Toronto. The film will air on television – on HBO Stateside – and then on various other outlets globally. Ray Romano, Geraldine Viswanathan, Alex Wolff, and Rafael Casal are also amongst the cast of the feature, which is directed by Cory Finlay (Thoroughbreds).
