David Arquette couldn't be more excited to reunite with his ex-wife, Courteney Cox, for ET spoke to the 48-year-old actor on Wednesday, and he talked about Cox recently officially announcing that she's reprising her role as Gale Weathers.Arquette announced in May he will also reprise his role as Sheriff Dewey Riley. Arquette told ET he still loves working with Cox, with whom he shares 16-year-old daughter Coco.

Courteney Cox is officially headed back to the franchise.

Earlier this year it was announced that the “Scream” franchise would get the “legacyquel” treatment, with “Ready or Not” filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of the filmmaking group Radio Silence resurrecting the franchise with a new film. We’d already heard that David Arquette was returning to reprise the role of Dewey Riley.
