Closing up shop — for now. After nine seasons, Million Dollar Listing New York has halted production for the foreseeable future, a little more more than six months after star Fredrik Eklund announced his departure from the franchise.

“The Real Housewives of Miami” revival after the show stopped running regularly in 2014.“Million Dollar Listing New York.” which premiered in 2012 and ran for nine seasons, is a spinoff series of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” which debuted in 2006 and ran for 12 seasons. In its ninth season, which premiered in May 2021, the New York edition of the franchise followed the lives of luxury real estate agents as they navigated the real estate landscape during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.Its most recent season also saw the entrance of the show’s first female broker, Kirsten Jordan, who fought for her place alongside original cast members Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund.

It seems like it may be a while before fans get a new season of Million Dollar Listing New York.

The “New York” version made its debut in 2012 and ran for nine seasons.

Since its premiere in 2012, Million Dollar Listing New York has been a favorite amongst Bravo fans for its depiction of the luxury real estate market in New York City.

Fredrik Eklund didn't necessarily make any friends when he jumped  cities, moving from New York to Los Angeles for the OG show in the franchise's 13th season. «I wouldn't say anyone was friendly at the time, no,» Fredrik confesses to ET over video chat, Zooming in from his home in Bel Air. «But in the Bravo universe, I think that's how it should be.

MDLNYs Ryan Serhant, 36, has had several ups and downs over the course of his 9 season tenure on the show with fellow cast member Fredrik Eklund, 44.
