YouTube has revealed the UK’s top 10 most-watched music videos of 2023.Earning the Number One spot on the annual list is Miley Cyrus‘ Grammy-nominated track ‘Flowers’. The video has 644 million views.‘Flowers’ debuted at Number One on the UK Singles chart as well as the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Cyrus’ second Number One song toping the chart since 2013’s ‘Wrecking Ball’. It also debuted at number one on the Billboard Global 200 chart and stayed on top for thirteen non-consecutive weeks.The song was also the highest-earning song on Spotify in 2023.Following ‘Flowers’ is Central Cee and Dave’s hit ‘Sprinter’.

Dave and Central Cee‘s ‘Sprinter’ taking the top spot.The single arrived earlier this year and now has been confirmed by the Official Charts Company as the most streamed song of the summer season.The Central Cee and Dave collaboration has also become both the longest-running UK Rap track to hit Number One, and the first to spend 10 consecutive weeks at the top of the Official Singles Chart. The 2022 BRIT Awards took place at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night with Little Simz, Dave, and Adele all taking home awards. For the first time the awards removed gender categories and instead focused on genre, with Dave winning Best Hip-Hop/Rap/Grime Act and Little Simz collecting the Best New Artist prize, despite releasing her debut mixtape over a decade ago.

Dave took home Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act award at this year’s BRIT Awards, where he also delivered a pyrotechnic-fuelled rendition of his ‘We’re All Alone in This Together’ cut ‘In the Fire’.During his acceptance speech, the rapper thanked God “first and foremost” and said, “I appreciate all the love from the fans.” He went on to thank collaborator Kyle Evans, his mother, friends and family.“I want to say thank you to all of the artists that are in the same field as me.
