An eight-episode spin-off from last year's DC blockbuster The Batman, which unleashed Robert Pattinson's brooding Dark Knight for the very first time, this story takes place exactly one week after its events and charts the rise of Farrell's disfigured brute Oswald Cobblepot through Gotham City's criminal underbelly. Distancing himself from Danny DeVito's grotesque Batman Returns incarnation, the 46 year old Irishman opted for a more Tony Soprano-esque approach, which is there for all to see in new pictures.

After coating the world in screens designed to connect consumers but intended to surveil them, he’s sorta kinda almost perfected his masterpiece, also called Made For Love.

Unless you believe all those ridiculous conspiracy theories on social media, as of right now, there aren’t any tech billionaires secretly trying to put monitoring devices into our brains. But in the upcoming HBO Max series, “Made for Love,” that’s a very real consequence in the failing marriage of a tech billionaire and his wife.

If you’re old enough to remember what it was like 20 years ago when DVDs first started to become the premier way to enjoy films at home, you probably have fond memories of all those special features that would come on the discs. And if you’re a big enough film nerd (and if you read this website, I’m guessing you probably are), then you remember listening to the commentary tracks that would come with the disc release.

Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti rom-com with a twist, is that you must watch it. But the less you know going in, the more fun your viewing experience will be.
