Starz has axed three existing drama series and one upcoming project.

Specifically, “Heels,” “Run the World,” and “Blindspotting” will not get new seasons at the cable network, while “The Venery of Samantha Bird” Season 1 is being scrapped without airing. “Heels,” “Run the World,” and “Blindspotting” all recently aired their second season at Starz, while “The Venery of Samantha Bird” was in production on its first season.

is finally back with season 2 as it continues to tell the story of a smalltown, family-owned wrestling organization. At the center of the Starz sports drama are Jack and Ace Spade (Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig, respectively), two rivaling brothers fighting over their late father's legacy and their own, individual success.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Starz has released the first full trailer for “Heels” Season 2. The new season of the pro wrestling drama will drop on July 28 at midnight on the Starz App before its linear debut on Starz at 10 p.m.ET/PT that same day. In the trailer, Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) is dealing with the fallout from the events of the Season 1 finale, including a complete breakdown of his relationship with his brother Ace (Alexander Ludwig) as well as with his wife Staci (Alison Luff). Meanwhile, Crystal (Kelli Berglund) is itching to defend the DWL championship in the ring, while Charlie Gully (Mike O’Malley) is out for revenge against Jack and the DWL.

“Heels” returns for season two on Friday, July 28 at midnight (ET) on the Starz app. Starring Stephen Amell (“Arrow”) and Alexander Ludwig (“Vikings”), the small-town drama series based on a wrestling league in rural Georgia will also debut on linear on Starz at 10:00 PM ET/PT in the US and Canada on Friday, July 28.

EXCLUSIVE: Johnny Knoxville (Reboot), Mo Amer (Mo) and Kate Upton (The Layover) will topline the indie comedy Sweet Dreams, from writer-director Lije Sarki. Additional cast set for the pic includes actor-comedians Bobby Lee (Reservation Dogs), Theo Von and Jay Mohr (The Cleaning Lady), as well as Dave‘s GaTa.
