Carliz De La Cruz Hernández, the former partner of Bad Bunny, is suing the Puerto Rican artist over the rights to voice recordings used in his music. Assosciated Press reports that De La Cruz is mounting legal action over her “Bad Bunny, baby” voice memo, which has appeared on numerous songs by the hugely popular star. She is seeking $40 million in damages.

Harry Styles during Bad Bunny‘s set at Coachella over the weekend was reportedly not approved by the Puerto Rican reggaeton star.As the singer, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, performed ‘El Apagón’ from his recent album ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ during his headline show, a tweet was displayed on screen which said: “goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon.”A representative for Bad Bunny has since said Bad Bunny declined to comment, but told Rolling Stone that the artist did not approve the image depicting the tweet.In response to the tweet, Sturdy.Co, who provided the background visual content at Bad Bunny’s show, also noted that the artist didn’t approve the appearance of the tweet.They wrote: “Our intention is to create light hearted designs that embody Bad Bunny’s personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer. The request from the artist during the visuals for ‘El Apagón’ performance was to use the image only and not text from the tweet, which we take responsibility for and correct it for Friday’s performance.

Bad Bunny (aka Benito Ocasio) will star as the Marvel character El Muerto – a wrestler with superhuman strength – in a new addition to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU), the company announced overnight.Word of the film dropped during Sony’s panel at this year’s CinemaCon, with a tentative release date pencilled in for January 12, 2024. It’ll be the fifth film in the SSU – a shared universe of characters related to Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, for which Sony owns the rights – following the two Venom films and Morbius, as well as Kraven The Hunter (due to hit screens on January 13, 2023) and Madame Web (July 7, 2023).According to Deadline, Ocasio landed the role of El Muerto (aka Juan-Carlos Sanchez) after Sony executives saw footage of the rapper in Bullet Train, in which he stars as an assassin named Wolf.A similar situation led to Aaron Taylor-Johnson – who stars in Bullet Train as an assassin named Tangerine – being cast for the titular role in Kraven The Hunter.
