EXCLUSIVE: Enderby Entertainment’s Zero Contact, a novel solution to the conundrum of making films during the pandemic, has been acquired in the U.S. by Lionsgate’s Grindstone Entertainment.

EXCLUSIVE: Lionsgate’s Grindstone Entertainment Group has acquired North American rights to Dead Man’s Hand — a Western starring Stephen Dorff (True Detective), Jack Kilmer (The Nice Guys) and Cole Hauser (Yellowstone), which just recently wrapped production in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

EXCLUSIVE: Grindstone Entertainment Group, a Lionsgate company, has picked up world distribution rights to the romantic comedy Christmas in Paradise from MSR Media International. Lionsgate will release the film in North America on November 15.

EXCLUSIVE: Grindstone Entertainment Group has acquired North American rights to the crime drama One Day as a Lion, written by and starring Scott Caan (Hawaii Five-0), from Roxwell Films. The film currently in production in Oklahoma boasts a starry ensemble that also includes Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Frank Grillo (Captain America and Purge franchises), Michael Carmen Pitt (Boardwalk Empire), Marianne Rendón (Charlie Says), Taryn Manning (Orange Is the New Black) and Academy Award nominee Virginia Madsen (Sideways).

Lionsgate has renewed its long-standing film slate deal with Grindstone Entertainment Group as new agreements have been signed with Grindstone president and CEO Barry Brooker and principal Stan Wertlieb. Movies in the new slate deal include Force of Nature, starring Mel Gibson, Emile Hirsch and Kate Bosworth; the Megan Fox-starrer Rogue;the comedy Guest House, with Pauly Shore and Aimee Teegarden; and Hair of the Dog, the Gerard Butler-starring thriller.
