EXCLUSIVE: After 15 years at Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment, where he served as Executive Vice President, producer Andy Horwitz has moved on to launch Big Swell Entertainment, a producing collective that aims to be a home for the next generation of young, hands-on producers and storytellers.

EXCLUSIVE: Luis Pineiro, formerly a lit agent at A3 Artists Agency, is transitioning to management, having joined management and finance firm The Cartel as a manager and producer, co-founder Jeff Holland announced on Thursday.

On its way to the Oscars, Christopher Nolan’s historical epic Oppenheimer has set a record at Peacock, landing the biggest launch weekend for any film on the platform.

Robert Downey Jr. has taken the Golden Globe for best supporting actor in a motion picture drama for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss in Universal’s Oppenheimer. This was Downey Jr.’s fifth Golden Globe nomination and third win.

Gal Gadot will star in the feature adaptation of Catriona Silvey’s debut novel, “Meet Me in Another Life,” for which Atlas Entertainment and Pilot Wave won the rights.Gadot will produce with Jaron Varsano for their production company Pilot Wave, alongside Charles Roven and Richard Suckle for Atlas Entertainment. “Meet Me in Another Life” centers on a man and a woman who must figure out why they keep meeting in different versions of reality.

Nellie Andreeva Co-Editor-in-Chief, TVVeteran youth talent agent Wendi Green, who spent the last nine years at Paradigm, is segueing to management. She has joined Atlas Artists, a subsidiary of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment, as a talent manager to boost the company’s representation in the youth space.
