Charna Flam Happy Hunger Games! Lionsgate has dropped the second trailer for “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.” Based on Suzanne Collins’ prequel novel of the same name, the upcoming film follows a young Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), who strives to revive his family’s legacy. In the midst of his efforts, he is tasked with mentoring District 12’s tribute and Panem’s favorite, Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler). Coriolanus works with Lucy to keep her alive in the Hunger Games, and he begins to battle between good and evil.

Paramount+ has unveiled the first trailer and key art “Love in Tapei”, the new rom-com based on the New York Times’ best-selling novel Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen.

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount+ on Monday announced their acquisition of the YA romance Love in Taipei (fka Loveboat, Taipei), based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the latter name by Abigail Hing Wen.

“Love in Taipei,” the film adaptation of Abigail Hing Wen’s New York Times bestseller “Loveboat, Taipei,” has been acquired by Paramount+ and will premiere in the U.S. this summer, the streamer announced Monday.

BreAnna Bell Zooey Deschanel will be joining the cast of “Physical” for Season 3, Variety has learned. She joins a cast that includes Rose Byrne, Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci, Paul Sparks, Ashley Liao and Geoffrey Arend. Deschanel will play Kelly, described as “a former sitcom star who jumps into the burgeoning fitness industry.” According to the show’s synopsis, the half-hour dark comedy “is set in the beachy paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego and follows Sheila Rubin (Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly. Sheila comes to find her own reprieve from her daily woes in the world of aerobics, but it comes with its own host of troubles as well.”
