Netflix has started rounding out the cast for its Lindsay Lohan-led romantic comedy Irish Wish, with Ed Speleers (Outlander), Alexander Vlahos (Sanditon), Ayesha Curry (A Black Lady Sketch Show), Elizabeth Tan (Emily in Paris) and Jane Seymour (The Kominsky Method) signing on for roles.

EXCLUSIVE: Republic Pictures has snapped up rights to The Image of You, a recently wrapped thriller starring Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars) in dual roles. Pic is set for release via Paramount Global Content Distribution at a date that hasn’t been disclosed.

Emily Longeretta “Hearties,” rejoice! Hallmark Channel has renewed “When Calls the Heart” for a 12-episode eleventh season. The show last aired in May 2022. Season 10, containing 12 episodes, will premiere on Sunday, July 30. Season 9 of the drama reached season-high ratings, with the finale reaching 3.1 million total viewers. For Season 10, Lindsay Sturman joined the series as showrunner. “When Calls the Heart,” which is inspired by Janette Oke’s book of the same name, premiered in 2014. The original cast included Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin and Jack Wagner, among many supporting actors. Lissing was written off in Season 5 when he character was killed; in turn, Chris McNally joined the series as Lucas, a new love interest for Krakow’s Elizabeth.

Days before the couple is set to marry in Ireland, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.

Candance Cameron Bure is set to to star in and executive produce A Christmas…Present holiday movie, her first project with Great American Media since signing her deal with the company (then GAC Media) earlier this year. The movie is slated to premiere on the Great American Family network in November.

Kim Murphy Netflix has revealed the second installment of its two-picture deal with Lindsay Lohan, announcing on Thursday the actress will star in the romantic comedy “Irish Wish.” In the film, Lohan will play Maddie, a bridesmaid attending a wedding in Ireland between her best friend and… the love of her life. After a wish gone awry, Maddie wakes up in a world where she become the betrothed, only to discover that reality isn’t one she really wants. “Irish Wish” will be the second Netflix-set romantic comedy to star Lohan. The first is “Falling for Christmas,” which is set to debut on the streaming service on Nov. 10. The holiday meet-cute features Lohan as a newly engaged heiress who takes a tumble while skiing and wakes up with a case of amnesia.

Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison will co-star in the upcoming GAC Family holiday film The Christmas Farm set to premiere during the network’s annual “Great American Christmas” celebration.

Emily Longeretta The 2022 holiday season is underway at GAC Family. Merritt Patterson and Daniel Lissing will star in “Catering Christmas” (working title), set to being production on April 3. The movie is the first announced movie in GAC Family’s annual Great American Christmas slate.“Catering Christmas” follows Molly Frost (Patterson) as she struggles to launch her new catering business and unexpectedly lands New Hampshire’s biggest event of the year.

Sadie Robertson is returning to TV in a new scripted show based on her novel, "Life Just Got Real." The series will follow two high school girls from different backgrounds who join a reality TV show later to realize "life is messy, love is hard, and second chances don’t come around every day."
