22-year old Toronto-based singer Ali Gatie recently stopped by Genius to perform his latest hit, “What If I Told You That I Love You,” which has already racked up an incredible 31 million plays on Spotify since its release in late January. Ali produced the song along with Danny Boy Styles and Sam Wish.

Last year, Canadian singer and rapper Ali Gatie earned his first Billboard Hot 100 with “It’s You,” which gained initial popularity as a viral snippet before peaking at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, he’s looking to follow the same blueprint with “What If I Told You That I Love You?,” a guitar-driven track that also built buzz on TikTok before its official release on January 24.
