One of the directors of The Lost City is sharing some behind-the-scenes secrets!

EXCLUSIVE: The long-in-development Masters of the Universe reimagining from Mattel looks to be gaining some momentum as sources tell Deadline Travis Knight is in final negotiations to direct. Insiders say his deal has still not closed at that other elements on the project are still coming together but all signs are pointing to Knight being the top choice to direct. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum’s adventure comedy “The Lost City” arrives on Paramount+ today, following a surprise box office success last month.

Directed by Adam and Aaron Nee, “The Lost City” stars Bullock as the successful but weary romance novelist Loretta Sage and Tatum as her gorgeous but stupid cover model Alan. When Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) to help find a lost treasure, it’s up to Alan to save her as they are thrust into an adventure straight out of her novels.

The Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum-led comedy The Lost City is set to premiere on May 10 via Paramount+ in the United States and Canada. It’ll be available in Australia, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy later this year.
