A new TV special is rounding up the biggest names in country music.

The Academy of Country Music Awards has officially declared a new date for its 2020 ceremony.

Days after announcing that this year’s ACM Awards telecast would be postponed from April 5 until September, the Academy of Country Music and Dick Clark Productions announced Thursday that they would be filling two hours of that abandoned time slot with a special called “ACM Presents: Our Country,” featuring at-home acoustic performances from some of the genre’s top stars.

The 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards is set to have some blazing hot performances! The annual awards show, which is airing live on CBS on April 5, announced on Wednesday that Miranda Lambert will be headlining the ceremony. 

Keith Urban has a new gig! On Thursday, CBS and the Academy of Country Music announced that the 52-year-old singer will serve as the host for the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 5. Urban has some big shoes to fill as Reba McEntire has hosted the ceremony the last two years in a row.
