Netflix show Fool Me Once, based on the 2016 novel by Harlan Coben, has been one of the biggest TV hits of 2024 so far.The eight-part series is just the latest adaptation of the mystery and thriller writer’s work that has been created for the streaming service.A synopsis reads: “When ex-soldier Maya (Michelle Keegan) sees her murdered husband Joe (Richard Armitage) on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.”The show also stars Adeel Akhtar and Joanna Lumley, and all eight episodes were released on Netflix on January 1.Fool Me Once is accompanied by a score by David Buckley and Luke Richards, who previously worked together on the music for the CBS legal drama The Good Wife.In addition to this, you can see a full breakdown of all the songs that feature in Fool Me Once below.The song that features in the opening credits in the majority of the eight episodes is ‘Inside’ by Chris Avantgarde, featuring Red Rosamund. Zack Sharf Johnny Depp’s return to acting following his defamation trial against Amber Heard is not being backed by Netflix. Bloomberg reported that the Depp-starring French movie “La Favorite” is receiving “financial backing” from Netflix, but a source close to the streaming giant told Variety this reporting is not true. Netflix is not financing the movie but has licensed the film to stream in France only after it completes the country’s 15-month theatrical window.

It’s been a tough few weeks for Netflix. The streamer lost subscribers for the first time in over a decade and its market value took a battering, losing over $50 billion in one day after its disappointing first quarter earnings.

Netflix‘s new coming-of-age drama Heartstopper has drawn huge acclaim since its release last week, and its much-loved soundtrack is now broken down in full.The series, which is based on Alice Oseman’s comic and graphic novel, follows the budding romance between high schoolers Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor).Among the acts making appearances on the soundtrack are Wolf Alice, Girl In Red, Beabadoobee and Baby Queen – the latter of whom has released a new single called ‘Colours Of You’ for the show.Check out the full list of songs that appear in Heartstopper below:Episode One – MeetEpisode Two – CrushEpisode Three – KissEpisode Four – SecretEpisode Six – GirlsEpisode Seven – BullyEpisode Eight – Boyfriend Heartstopper has also generated a lot of talk over a surprise appearance from Olivia Colman, who portrays Nick’s mother Sarah in the series, with Netflix managing to keep her casting under wraps until the show debuted last week.

Netflix’s “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker,” the story of America’s first self-made female millionaire, takes place between 1908 and 1918. But the music, instead of focusing on the early jazz that might be expected, runs the gamut from ragtime to hip-hop.
