If you didn’t see, Netflix has adjusted how they track viewership data, and as a result, there’s been a change in the most popular TV shows of all time on the streamer!

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Netflix says its ad-supported plan includes “the vast majority” of TV shows and movies available on the standard no-ads tiers — but more than a year after the streamer introduced the cheaper option, several popular titles remain unavailable to customers with the ad plan. Most recently, Netflix customers noticed that Eli Roth’s horror film “Thanksgiving” (pictured above), added Feb. 17 for subscribers on ad-free tiers, is unavailable on the ad plan.

We’re over halfway through the year, and there has been a lot of great content on Netflix so far in 2023.

Netflix is starting to lift the veil on its viewership numbers and the methods by which it arrives at those numbers. The streaming service still keeps most of his data close to the chest, of course, but there are occasions when the site sheds some light on what subscribers are watching, particularly when those numbers are impressive.
