The Weeknd is set to resume his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour later this month after he was forced to abruptly end his LA show last weekend due to vocal issues.The Canadian artist, real name Abel Tesfaye, made it through four songs of his gig at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Saturday (September 3) before he left the stage.Returning to address the crowd, Tesfaye offered his “personal” apologies for ending the show early, saying: “I’m going to make sure everyone is good, you’ll get your money back. But I’ll do a show real soon for you guys.”The artist later clarified on Twitter that “my voice went out during the first song”, adding: “I’m devastated.

The Weeknd is sharing some amazing news! After leaving the stage early, and canceling the remainder of his show in Los Angeles on Saturday, the 32-year-old singer says that he is all cleared to get back onstage and will pick up his After Hours Til Dawn tour in his hometown of Toronto.  “Doctor says my voice is safe and with rest i’ll be solid and able to bring the show my TORONTO fans are waiting for. LA date is being worked out soon,” he captioned a picture of him onstage.

Zerlina Maxwell is leaving MSNBC after the end of her Peacock streaming series.

Maxwell, one of the first anchors to launch an all-streaming program for the NBCUniversal-backed news outlet, announced her departure on social media Tuesday. MSNBC decided to cancel her program last month, marking some of the first cutbacks to its streaming ambitions. A program led by Ayman Mohyeldin was also canceled, but he is expected to remain as a weekend host on MSNBC’s cable network. Executives had hoped Maxwell, a Democratic activist and former campaign aide to Hillary Clinton would stay on in an analyst role. But she appears to have declined. “My last episode of @zerlinashow on 9/15 next week will also be my last day at @msnbc,” she posted Tuesday. The anchor thanked her production team for the ability to use our show and my voice to put the spotlight on black and brown communities that are not often considered in mainstream conversations.”
