WWE on Thursday said its revenue rose 60 percent to $291 million in the first quarter thanks to new distribution deals in India and Germany and “increased monetization of content” as fees tied to rights deals with NBCUniversal and Fox rose. WWE is among the last live sports programming on TV, with Monday Night Raw still airing weekly on USA and Smackdown airing Fridays on Fox.

WWE is continuing about its shooting for weekly episodic television's live tapings in spite of the coronavirus scare and was recently deemed to be an "essential business" by Florida governor Ron DeSantis and Orange County (Florida) Mayor Jerry Demings.
Sports and media productions have been put on ice across the U.S. amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, but Florida has deemed them "essential businesses" under certain circumstances, including that no fans are in attendance.
Most businesses have been forced to close down temporarily during the coronavirus pandemic; the exception, of course, is for essential services: hospitals, grocery stores, banks. And per Florida’s governor, that includes pro wrestling!
WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has been deemed an “essential” service in the state of Florida, allowing live shows to resume.
