United are expected to search for strikers this summer, with Weghorst likely to head back to parent club Burnley, but the target man has also been linked with several top-flight clubs.

It has been reported by Talksport that Everton are interested in the forward after another difficult season for the Toffees. Sean Dyche steered Everton to safety this season and signed the former Wolfsburg man for £12m in January 2022 during his time at Burnley.
Current Clarets boss Vincent Kompany was recently quizzed about Weghorst’s future: "The most important thing for me – and it's a tough one for me to say obviously because of the FA Cup final – is for him personally to finish the season on a high.
