A woman has opened up about her jaw-dropping encounter during her marriage, and defended her somewhat "crazy" decision to end it the way she did.
Amanda Trenfield was married for 14 years - but left her husband for a man she'd met in a bar just once. She claims there was "electric" chemistry between her and Jason, so she put an end to her marriage to seek him out again.
But, upon meeting up with her for a second time, Jason turned down her advances leaving Amanda single again after uprooting her entire life. She's now spoken about the experience in more detail in a podcast and says she "doesn't regret a thing", writes the Mirror.
Speaking to Mia Freedman on the No Filter podcast, Amanda explained how the rollercoaster of a romance began when she was on a work trip with her husband.
She was attempting to use this time to reconnect with him, but they soon met Jason and chatted to him over dinner, before he offered to buy them both a drink later in the evening.
Amanda said: "It happened to be my favourite rose. And during the course of that evening, we just stayed talking - there was a depth of connection I just hadn't felt before."
The following day, Amanda then approached Jason and discussed her feelings for him - and they shared a quick kiss together.
She said: "I opened the conversation with, 'I felt strange and very connected to you last night', and he said he felt the same way.
"He was there in those moments and felt the connection like I did. He felt the kiss like I did. But he decided to say no and move forward with his life without looking back."
