A woman inflicted life-changing injuries on her four-month-old relative by shaking him and banging his head on a hard surface.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced at Bolton Crown Court after being convicted by a jury of inflicting grievous bodily harm on the youngster on May 3, 2018.
She was handed a 22-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
