A woman was hurt during an alleged domestic assault on an estate near Heaton Park in north Manchester, police have confirmed. Two suspects have been arrested during the incident on Sunday morning.
One of the suspects was held a short distance away near a bus stop on Middleton Road.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called at around 10.50am on Sunday to reports of a domestic assault in Torcross Road in Blackley. One woman is said to have suffered injuries to her arm.

Police also swooped on a bus stops close to Sainsbury's on Middleton Road close to Heaton Park where they arrested a suspect. Two people were arrested during the police operation.
Officers from GMP cordoned off bus stops on either side of Middleton Road as an investigation into the alleged domestic assault continued. The road was not closed during the incident and the cordons were lifted during the early afternoon.
A spokesman for GMP told the Manchester Evening News: "At around 10.50am this morning (Sunday 11 February 2024), officers were called to reports of a domestic assault on Torcross Road, North Manchester.
"An 18-year-old man and a man in his 40s have been arrested on suspicion of assault. One suspect was arrested on Middleton Road.
"A female victim is believed to have an injury to her arm.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
