Police Scotland has launched an investigation after a pensioner died as a result of a two-car crash.

A woman was 'doused in petrol' on a Scots road in a horrifying attack which is believed to have been streamed on social media.
Police have launched a probe after the alleged incident happened outside an address on Alloway Road in Lochside, Dumfries, at around 8.30pm on Thursday, December 22. It's understood the woman was harassed by a number of youths.
Officers say she was later doused in a substance, suspected to be petrol. It's believed the sickening incident was streamed on social media and officers are now appealing for information.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police are investigating an incident that occurred outside an address on Alloway Road, Lochside, Dumfries about 8.30pm on Thursday, December 22, involving a female being harassed by a number of youths.
"The female was later doused in a substance suspected to be petrol. It is believed this incident may have been streamed on social media.
"If you are a witness or have any information relating to this incident please call Police Scotland on 101 quoting PDG0269671222."
