Disney have announced that Elton John’s last-ever performance in the US this November – a third consecutive show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium – will be streamed live on Disney+.The show will take place at the 56,000-capacity stadium on Sunday November 20, rounding out the North American leg of John’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour. For its streaming release – announced over the weekend at this year’s D23 conference – the show will be titled Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.

The Little Mermaid has been unveiled.The teaser was premiered at Disney’s D23 Expo, which is currently taking place in Anaheim, California today (September 9).The Little Mermaid will see singer Halle Bailey of duo Chloe X Halle take on the lead role of Ariel. The one-minute-23-second-long teaser gives a first look at her in the part, featuring the actor swimming through the ocean with a shiny blue tail.Bailey also can be heard singing a part of ‘Part Of Your World’ in the teaser.

Disney has revealed the first trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 at the D23 Expo in Anaheim tonight (September 9).The new movie, which will see original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker return, will arrive on Disney Plus on September 30.The sequel will also introduce new characters, including one played by Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham, as the trailer reveals.The trailer begins with a priest banishing the three young witches, who grow up to be Midler, Najimy and Parker’s characters, from Salem and meeting Waddingham in the woods. “They were right to fear thee,” she tells them.Happily never after.#Disenchanted, an Original movie, starts streaming November 24 on @DisneyPlus.

Disenchanted, the follow-up to 2007’s hit movie Enchanted.The trailer for the sequel was revealed earlier today (September 9) at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim.Disenchanted follows Giselle (played by Adams) 10 years after she thought she’d got her “happily ever after” moment. But instead, a decade on, she questions her happiness and, according to a synopsis, “inadvertently turns the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process”.James Marsden and Idina Menzel will also reprise their roles from the first film, while Gabriella Baldacchino will replace Rachel Covey as Morgan Philip – Giselle’s stepdaughter.It was also revealed that new characters will include the villainous Malvina Monroe, who will be played by Maya Rudolph.In the trailer, Adams is seen singing from the balcony of her New York apartment and explaining to the birds around her that while “change can be scary”, it can also be exciting.

Eugene Hernandez has been set as the next Director of the Sundance Film Festival, as well as the Sundance Institute’s Head of Public Programming. Megan Thee Stallion has made a cameo appearance in Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.The rapper appeared in the third episode of the Disney+ show, which dropped this week, as a shapeshifting elf that takes the form of Megan Thee Stallion to defraud an associate of She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) before appearing in a post-credits scene where the pair twerk to ‘Body’.“You are way more fun than my last lawyer,” the rapper says before She-Hulk responds: “I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion.” You can watch the clip below.Her role in the show was teased earlier this week by Josh Segarra, who played attorney Augustus “Pug” Pugliese in the episode.According to She-Hulk showrunner Jessica Gao, Megan joined the show thanks to co-star Jameela Jamil.“It was just such a dream come true for so many of us, but especially for Tatiana, because she is such a huge Megan fan,” Gao told Shadow And Act. “When we wrote the episode, we knew that we needed to have a very famous, successful, and beautiful female celebrity.“But we weren’t sure [if they should be] should it be an actor or a musician, like they could all work, [but] it would just be kind of a different vibe for the story.

whoaaa bother!In the film, Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) has gone to college — a la Andy in “Toy Story 3” — and returns with his girlfriend only to discover his old pals Pooh (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) from the 100 Acre Woods have turned feral and murderous.We witness the sweet animals kill for fun.Piglet wields an ax as he wades through an indoor swimming pool and decapitates a renter staying in a house in the forest.Pooh chloroforms a bikini-clad woman in a hot tub.There’s a grave marked “Eeyore RIP.”A sobbing Christopher later shouts at Pooh in the sadistic movie clip, “We used to be friends! Why are you doing this? I never would have left you — I swear!” His childhood, and ours, is dead.The film, which will be released later this year, created a huge online stir when demented stills were revealed in May. Now, both fans of scare and bear can see the warped project is 100% real.Besides Pooh morphing into a death machine, other aspects of “Blood and Honey” will be unfamiliar to longtime fans of the Disney films and TV series.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” has been released, revealing more of the slasher makeover of everyone’s favorite honey-obsessed bear.The movie stars Craig David Dowsett and Chris Cordell as Winnie and his best friend Piglet, who go on a rampage after Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) abandons them for college. Without the influence of their human friend, the two turn feral, seeking prey and stalking the humans near their homes. The trailer showcases the characters on their rampage, revealing more of the twisted interpretation of A.A. Milne’s beloved characters.As director Rhys Waterfield revealed in an interview with Variety, the film was shot over the course of 10 days near the Ashdown Forest in England, the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Woods as depicted in Milne’s original stories, which only entered the public domain this year. To avoid copyright issues with Disney — which owns the interpretations of the character as seen in various films and television shows — certain elements were changed, including swapping Pooh Bear’ red shirt for lumberjack gear and omitting characters like Tigger who are still under copyright.

Sometimes, a short film is created as its own project. However, that’s not always the case, as with Sally Potter’s upcoming short, “Look At Me.” Sometimes, a short film can be created almost by accident.  As seen in the trailer for the upcoming short film, “Look At Me,” which is set to debut at this year’s Venice Film Festival, Sally Potter has created a 16-minute film about male anger as seen through the characters played by Chris Rock, Javier Bardem, and Savion Glover.
