Toyah Willcox and her husband, King Crimson founder Robert Fripp have shared a cover of Grace Jones‘ ‘Slave To The Rhythm’ – check it out below.The clip is the latest in their long-running ‘Sunday Lunch’ series which was launched in 2020 due to Fripp missing playing out live as a result of the coronavirus lockdown.In recent weeks, they’ve covered Hole’s ‘Celebrity Skin’, INXS’ ‘Devil Inside’, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Can’t Stop’, The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’, Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ and Garbage’s ‘I Think I’m Paranoid’. Last week the pair took on Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Killing In The Name Of’.For their reworking of ‘Slave To The Rhythm’, the lead single from Jones’ 1985 album of the same name, the pair take up residence in their kitchen once more, with a backdrop that features sbanner that read: “Rhythm Of Life” and “The Posh Pop Three”.Willcox dons a long-sleeved shiny red dress for the performance, along with a red scarf, while Fripp wears his trademark shirt and waistcoat ensemble.

Nirvana‘s Krist Novoselic, former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, Pink, Nandi Bushell and many more have been added to the line-up for the forthcoming tribute gigs for late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.Nile Rodgers, Greg Kurstin and LeAnn Rimes who performed with Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders on their 2019 album ‘Get The Money’, have also been added to the bill. Grace Jones-curated edition of London’s Meltdown Festival kicks off this Friday (June 10) and – alongside exclusive gigs – features a raft of free public programming.Events will run across the Southbank Centre’s venues for the duration of the festival, which runs until June 19, offering a host of activities for fans to get involved in.Throughout the whole festival a new audio installation from poet Travis Alabanza will lead visitors in saying “grace” to Jones. The We Say Grace installation will be played around the Southbank Centre site from Friday.Workshops will be on offer for a variety of activities, including rollerskating at the Roll Up To The Bumper event at Riverside Terrace on June 11, and hula-hooping at the Do or Die…or Disco with Marawa’s Majorettes, which takes place at the same venue on June 17.The former will feature DJ sets from Kengo, Frankie J and Petite while some of London’s finest skaters show punters the ropes.
