Willie Garson Teases ‘Sex and the City’ Revival: It Has ‘Nothing to Do’ With the Original

Actor Chris Noth almost refused to reprise his iconic role in the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That…, for a very particular reason. For the unversed, the reboot of the hit franchise will see a majority of the main cast in their original roles except for Kim Cattrall who chose not to return to play Samantha Jones.

And just like that, the new Sex and the City episodes could have been very different. While it’s been confirmed that Chris Noth will reprise his role in HBO Max’s SATC revival, it almost didn’t happen.

Chris Noth wasn’t sure he wanted to step into Mr. Big’s shoes again. In an interview with Yahoo Finance Live, the 66-year-old actor revealed why he was “hesitant” to reprise his “Sex and the City” role in the show’s upcoming reboot, “And Just Like That…”
