House of the Dragon series proved red is definitely her colour.  The star of the Game of Thrones spin off show, graced the red carpet at the Bulgari High Jewellery Gala held in St Paul's Cathedral on Wednesday night, wearing a red feathered gown from none other than 16 Arlington.

Outlander fans were thrilled to bits as the show announced a series of faces that would be returning for season seven but it appears that one cast member has been replaced.

Terrific news for fans of Outlander: Several favorites from seasons past will rejoin the action in the seventh season of the Starz drama that’s now filming in Scotland. Graham McTavish — who’s on HBO’s House of the Dragon — will reprise his role as Jamie’s uncle Dougal MacKenzie. Also returning is Nell Hudson as Laoghaire Fraser; Steven Cree as Old Ian Murray; Andrew Whipp as Brian Fraser, Jamie’s father; Layla Burns as Joan MacKimmie, Marsali’s sister and Jamie’s stepdaughter; and Lotte Verbeek as Geillis Duncan, Claire’s former friend-turned-enemy and a fellow time traveler. Several new actors will be joining the cast too, including Gloria Obianyo (Dune) as Mercy Woodcock, a free Black woman navigating the hardships of life in Colonial America; Rod Hallett (The Last Kingdom) as Benedict Arnold, the notorious Revolutionary soldier turned traitor; Chris Fulton (Bridgerton) as Rob Cameron, a new acquaintance of Roger and Brianna; Diarmaid Murtagh (Vikings) as Buck MacKenzie, the illegitimate son of Dougal MacKenzie and Geillis Duncan, and Roger’s ancestor, a role previously played by Graham McTavish in season five, and Kristin Atherton (Shakespeare & Hathaway) as Jenny Murray, Jamie’s sister and Young Ian’s mother, a role originated by Laura Donnelly in seasons one through three. Previously announced additions include Charles Vandervaart as William Ransom; Izzy Meikle-Small as Rachel Hunter and Joey Phillips as Denzell Hunter.

The Gilded Age has been in production for its second season and we can’t wait to see what’s in store in the next slew of episodes.

There’s good and bad news on the “Outer Range” front, Prime Video’s excellent, Western/metaphysical sci-fi show starring Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, and an outstanding supporting cast. The good news: the critically acclaimed “The Outer Range”—which we adored, it’s one of the best shows of the year—but the bad news is that its original showrunner and creator Brian Watkins has been replaced.

Whew. Honestly, we were getting worried for a minute. But Amazon Studios has announced a second season for “Outer Range,” the sci-fi western that stars Josh Brolin, Lili Taylor and Imogen Poots.

Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that John Corbett will return to his role as fan-favorite "Sex and the City" character Aidan Shaw in the sequel series "And Just Like That…" It was previously reported in August that Corbett was returning to the show as the lovable furniture designer for a "substantial, multi-episode arc." At the time, HBO Max would not confirm or deny the information. While speaking to "Entertainment Tonight," Parker all but confirmed the character will be returning.

Season 6 of Elite is coming soon, and we’re now found out that four stars of the hit Spanish-language Netflix show will not be back.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is returning for a fourth season on Disney+ and the streaming service has announced that six original franchise stars are joining the show.

As Alcock noted in an interview with Nylon, “‘House of the Dragon’ highlights yes, the patriarchy, yes, misogyny, but also the internalized misogyny that these two women are forced to face. They’re forced to be put at odds with one another by the choices by men.” Since the characters are set in opposition due to decisions made by their fathers, Alcock added that she finds it “ironic” that the show’s fan base — which is mostly men — is simultaneously pitting the characters against each other.
