Wildfire threat simmers as Red Flag warning issued for parts of Southern California

Some wealthy Southern California A-listers are trying to jump to the front of the line in an effort to get the coronavirus vaccine. Some attempting to leverage their power and influence and others are offering five-figure donations to hospitals to gain access.  Health care workers and nursing home residents are slated to receive the vaccine first.They will be followed by essential workers and people over 75.

Southern California's Bond Fire exploded overnight Thursday, scorching 6,400 acres and injuring two firefighters. The fire started Wednesday after a Silverado Canyon home caught fire amidst gusty Santa Ana winds.The blaze then spread to nearby vegetation and up into the hills.

A wildfire in California's Orange County prompted widespread mandatory evacuations late Wednesday night after devouring more than 3,600 acres. The Bond Fire was sparked by a burning house in Silverado Canyon, and flames spread through nearby brush, propelled by strong Santa Ana winds.
