Strictly Come Dancing will soon be back on our screens, complete with a fresh line-up of stars ready to take on the ballroom. The BBC One show will reclaim its prime-time Saturday night slot for its twentieth series.
But this year, its launch show will air on Friday September 23, followed by its first live show on Saturday September 24. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be back to keep the Strictly ship running as smoothly as possible.
Meanwhile, head judge Shirley Ballas will return to the panel, alongside judges Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood. Soap actors, an 80s music legend and a former Britain's Got Talent child star are among the contestants preparing to put on their dancing shoes.

But the first celebrity confirmed for this year's show was actor Will Mellor. A familiar face who's graced our screens for more than 30 years, Will has had an impressive career. His acting credits include Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road and Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, which saw the 46-year-old portray Gaz Wilkinson.
Soap fans will recognise the star more recently from Coronation Street, where he played Weatherfield baddie Harvey Gaskell. Away from his TV roles, Will also hosts a podcast with his Two Pints co-star Ralf Little called Two Pints with Will and Ralf. But off-screen, the actor enjoys a more low-key life with his family.
Will, from Bredbury, lives in a luxurious Cheshire property with his wife and two children. He met his wife, dancer and actress Michelle McSween, when they starred together in the stage musical Oh, What a Night in 1999. The couple wed in 2007 and have two children together, Jayden, 18 and Renee, 14.
