After some truly breathtaking performances from the final three contestants, one costumed crooner ended up walking away with the Golden Mask Trophy!Going back to tradition — after having a finale with just two contestants last season — this season's big showdown pitted the top three singers against one another for an ultimate musical showdown.The Prince, The Ringmaster and The Firefly — who all happened to be from Team Good — each took to the stage to sing their hearts out, with The Prince kicking off the evening.The frog-costumed crooner wowed with a stunning performance of Coldplay's «Viva La Vida» that garnered a well-earned standing ovation from the panel and the audience.However, with this being the final, all three contestants brought their A-game, and Firefly upped the ante with a sultry, jaw-dropping rendition of «Bag Girl» by Usher. She showed off her moves and danced with the panel, leading panelist Nicole Scherzinger to gush, «Tonight, at this finale, you are the one to beat.»The Ringmaster then took the stage and brought the first round of the finale to an emotional close with a powerful performance of Sara Bareilles' «Gravity» that saw her hitting some truly next-level high notes.

s wild and unpredictable season is nearing its grand finale, as Wednesday determined which contestant would be taking the last spot in the final three.The Queen Cobras, Space Bunny and the Frog Prince all took the stage for the last showdown of Round 3, and each sang their hearts out for the chance at making it all the way to the end of the line.However, only one could claim the spot — meaning fans were in for a double elimination! Which also meant finally learning who some of the costumed crooners really are!After all three of the elaborately crafted characters sang their heart out, it came time for the three to go back-to-back singing alternating verses of Katy Perry's hit «Roar» — and all three slayed their performances, making the audience vote particularly difficult.However, two (costume) heads had to roll, so the first singer to get the proverbial axe was the Space Bunny!Before unmasking, the panel of celebrity detectives -- including Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger — made their final guesses. While Jeong's guess of Owen Wilson was way off, McCarthy was closer when she suggested Sean Kingston.

an unexpected unmasking last week that sent shockwaves through the fandom, the hit Fox show returned on Wednesday and was back to business as usual with another set of performances from the third and final group of costumed contestants.Space Bunny, Frog Prince, Baby Mammoth and Queen Cobra — who turned out to be multiple contestants as multiple Queen Cobras, to everyone's surprise — all took the stage for another shot at keeping their masks on and getting to the finals.After all the performances were delivered, it came time for the audience to vote on which of the masked contestants should have to face off — and it all came down to Baby Mammoth (who sang «Me Too» by Meghan Trainer) and Space Bunny, who crooned Culture Club's «Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.»Finally, it came time for the final vote of the night and that spelled the end of the road for Baby Mammoth.Before unmasking, the panel of celebrity detectives — including Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger — made their final guesses. The wild guesses included Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst and Rachel Ray.
