Mae Muller will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with I Wrote A Song.
A baleric-infused synth-pop stomper, the track is all about Mae funneling her anger at the betrayl of an ex beau into doing what she does best - writing bangers - instead of trashing his car, like she really wants to do.
Queen.
While Mae has been a name on people's lips in the run-up to the announcement, which took place this morning on Zoe Ball's BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, her appointment will no doubt still be a surprise to some.
