This year's The Great British Bake Off is in full swing, fans are absolutely loving it, and one Scot has sailed his way through to the seventh week.
In the last episode, the bakers got busy in the iconic white tent to create some Halloween themed treats and music teacher Kevin Flynn, from Hamilton, just made it through. This was despite a few hiccups with his creations this week - one being that the icing on his apple cake melted and he ran out of time to complete his spider piñata showstopper.
However, he managed to make it through to next week which means he is the last Scot standing in the competition and now finds himself among the final six contestants.
Despite his apple cake falling apart, Prue and Paul said that it tasted amazing.
This week's technical challenge saw the bakers asked to make eight s'mores in two hours, followed by a Halloween showstopper. Syabira was named Star Baker and was the happy recipient of a Hollywood handshake, joking: "I haven't washed it since then. It's like Paul power. I was surprised."
In the end, Dawn was the latest baker chosen to leave the tent. She said: "I really don't want to shed tears over it because it's just been the most amazing experience, one of the absolute best experiences of my life. I'm really, really proud of what I've done and I've had fun, such fun."
Kevin, 33, has been baking since he was 17, but he also teaches and performs music, mainly on saxophone, as well as flute, piano and clarinet. Kevin hopes his stint on the show will make many people in his community proud.
The saxophonist spends as much time as possible with his wife Rachel, they often play board games with his siblings and their partners. He is also a big animal lover and surrounds himself with family
