Britain's Got Talent has been a stable entertainment show for the British public since it began in 2007. Over the years many legends have taken to the BGT stage, but one duo in particular won the hearts of the nation- Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli, the opera singing duo. The pair appeared on the 2012 series of the show, with Jonathan famously deciding to stick with Charlotte after Simon suggested he perform alone.
Jonathan and Charlotte went on to be runners up on the show, coming in behind dancing dog Pudsey. However, after releasing two albums together, the pair decided to part ways after being offered solo albums with Sony Classical. Jonathan admitted that him and Charlotte don't talk anymore, as busy schedules made it hard to stay in contact.
Where is Charlotte Jaconelli now? Charlotte was just 16 years old when she auditioned for the hit TV show nine years ago. Her and Jonathan first met at West Hatch High School in their hometown of Chigwell, Essex when they were 11 years old. A chance suggestion by their singing teacher that they should try singing together was what encouraged them to audition for Simon Cowell's talent show.
Following the success of the young singing duo, Jonathan and Charlotte went on a UK arena tour. The two albums they went on to release together sold over quarter of a million copies. The young singer then went on to release her own solo album, Solitaire, in 2014. Now 26, Charlotte can be found sharing snaps of her busy life on her Instagram which which has over 20,000 followers. It looks like Charlotte went on to study at ArtsEd, one of London's top drama schools, graduating in 2018.
