Drama series Locke & Key is set to return to Netflix for a third season this summer. Netflix describes Locke & Key as a "coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.” Netflix has adapted Locke and Key from the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez under the same name.
This Netflix adaptation is made by screenwriter Carlton Cuse ( Lost, Bates Motel ) and Meredith Averill ( The Haunting of Hill House ).
The third season of Locke & Key will be available to stream on Netflix from August 10. The official synopsis for the upcoming season reads: “The Locke family uncovers more magic within Keyhouse, while a new threat, the most dangerous one yet, looms in Matheson with plans of his own for the keys.” Read more: What is Netflix's The Sandman based on and what is the series about? The Locke & Key season 3 cast will include Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Aaron Ashmore and Jackson Robert Scott who will all return to portray their roles in the new season.
