A never-before-seen portrait of the Queen has been unveiled in celebration of her Platinum Jubilee.The image was captured by Robert Munday and was presented publicly for the first time by the photographer as he launched his exhibition of light sculptures at Dorchester Collection’s 45 Park Lane in London.The new portrait, titled Platinum Queen: Felicity, was taken in 2004 and shows the monarch flashing a knowing smirk in the midst of sharing a joke with confidante and senior dresser, Angela Kelly, during a test shot organised by Munday.The photo session had been set up to gather images for the first official 3D hologram of the Queen, 95, and lead to the offhand moment that the public doesn’t usually get to see. The Sex Pistols’ official social media accounts have announced a reissue of the band’s second single, ‘God Save The Queen’, with two limited edition recreations of the original vinyl releases being made available to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee.Back in 1977, releasing ‘God Save The Queen’ to coincide with the monarch’s silver jubilee seemed so dangerous that some retailers refused to stock the record and some versions of that week’s official chart blanked out the track’s title. Yet putting it out again 45 years later to coincide with the latest anniversary of the Queen taking the throne almost makes it feel like the record is part of the official celebrations.The single will be re-pressed so to recreate the original releases as pressed by both A&M and Virgin.

Toy company Mattel have revealed a very special Barbie doll of The Queen to mark the Platinum Jubilee. Unveiled on the Queen's 96th birthday, the doll is instantly recognisable in an ivory brocade long gown and blue sash ribbon adorned with decorations of order. The doll is also wearing a replica of the Queen's fringe tiara, which she wore on her wedding day.The pink ribbon on the doll imitates one given to the Queen by her father George VI, and the pale blue imitates one from her grandfather George V.The silver brooch pinned underneath the sash represents the Garter Star Brooch, the insignia of the highest order of chivalry in the United Kingdom, the Order of the Garter.

Queen Elizabeth II s getting a head start on her birthday festivities.  The royal family’s official Instagram account shared a picture of the Queen on Wednesday standing between two of her fell ponies, Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale.  "Ahead of The Queen’s 96th Birthday tomorrow, Royal Windsor Horse Show, have released a new photograph of Her Majesty with two of her fell ponies, Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale," the caption began. Queen Elizabeth kicked off her birthday celebration early on Wednesday.

Prince Harry might once again be ready to tend to his home duties. The Duke of Sussex, 37, took part in the Invictus Games — the fifth iteration of the famed sporting event for injured and sick veterans — and during the event, Harry sat down with "Today" co-host Hoda Kotb to shed light on his recent trip back to Buckingham Palace to visit with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be returning to England sooner than you thought.

Prince Harry is giving a little insight into one of his first face-to-face meetings with Queen Elizabeth II since leaving the U.K. Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle visited the Queen at Windsor Castle for the first time as a couple since moving to the U.S.They were on their way to the Netherlands for the 2022 Invictus Games.  "She had plenty of messages for Team UK, which I have already passed on to most of them," Prince Harry told the BBC regarding the meeting.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been invited to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went to visit the 95 year old head of state last week, before jetting to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. Following on from their secret visit, which Harry opened up on, the latest reports show more progress towards the family healing their rift with Harry, 37, and 40 year old Meghan. It's been claimed the couple will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Jubilee celebrations, but will have no formal role.
