The film’s distributor, Screen Media, is eyeing an early 2023 release date for the movie.“Fast Charlie,” based on Victor Gischler’s novel “Gun Monkeys,” stars Pierce Brosnan as Charlie Swift, a hitman who has been working for his aging mob boss, Stan (Caan), for two decades.

The Woman King tells the story of an all-female unit of warriors called the Agojie, who were the protectors of the African Kingdom of Dahomey back in the 1800s. In the film, a new generation of warriors are led by General Nanisca as they train to fight against a force that want to destroy their very way of life itself: an invasion of Europeans looking to expand their territory overseas and colonise the world.

Over the past decade, FX has found a niche as a home for irreverent shows about culturally specific communities. Few of the network’s recent hits garnered more critical acclaim than “Reservation Dogs,” which tracks the antics and aspirations of Indigenous teenagers who dream of escaping life in Oklahoma for sunny California.

Appearances by Megan Mullally and comedian/podcaster Marc Maron are planned for the second season of Reservation Dogs, FX’s breakout comedy from Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi. Wes Studi will also reprise his role as Bucky.

And as seen in the latest trailer for ‘Love & Thunder,’ this is most definitely an ensemble.

When Taika Waititi began working with David Jenkins on the HBO Max series “Our Flag Means Death,” he knew he’d eventually want to play one of the main characters.
