Guardiola and his coaching staff were out of their seats regularly as the game heated up, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp sent to the stands after being red-carded for dissent. However, one major talking point as City leave Anfield are the Blues' allegations that coins were thrown in the direction of Pep Guardiola during the match.
Guardiola referred to the Blues' coach being attacked outside Anfield in 2018 saying: "Next time they will do it better. They didn't get me. They tried but didn't get me. They got it on the coach years ago but not this time."
