Nathan Ake, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Cole Palmer are set to be assessed before the trip to Southampton and could all miss out, with the only guaranteed absence being young striker Liam Delap, who is yet to even make an appearance this season.
Riyad Mahrez is set to return to City much earlier than anticipated as Algeria were surprisingly knocked out of AFCON in the group stages, but it's unlikely that the winger will be rushed back in time for Saturday.
