More than 250 of Israel’s top filmmakers have signed an open letter, saying they will not seek funding from, nor cooperate with the recently–established Shomron (Samaria/West Bank) Film Fund, following the fund’s inaugural film festival in the occupied West Bank.

Yungblud has shared the official music video for his latest single ‘Tissues’ – you can watch it below.Released on Tuesday (August 30), the song sees the Doncaster artist – real name Dominic Harrison – sample The Cure‘s classic track ‘Close To Me’. ‘Tissues’ appears on Yungblud’s self-titled third album, which came out today (September 2).In the single’s accompanying visuals, we find Harrison dancing on-stage in a theatre full of party-goers who’ve been frozen in time.

Kendrick Lamar has released the previously theatre-exclusive short film that accompanies ‘We Cry Together’, his collaborative track with actress Taylour Paige from ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ – making it available to view online nearly two-and-a-half years after it was shot.The film was directed by Lamar himself alongside Jake Schreier and Dave Free, with Adam Newport-Berra serving as its cinematographer.

The New York Film Festival on Tuesday revealed its Spotlight section lineup, which includes the world premiere of She Said, Universal’s drama based on the work of New York Times reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey who investigated and wrote the bombshell 2017 Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse story.

Madonna held a roller disco last night (August 10) in New York City, in celebration of her upcoming compilation album, ‘Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones’.The album, which arrives next (August 19), was celebrated at DiscOasis Central Park in NYC. It follows “Martin Eden,” which competed at Venice, won best actor for Luca Marinelli and went on to play at Toronto.Marcello, who rose to prominence as a documentarian with his film “The Mouth of the Wolf,” penned the script for “Scarlet” with his regular screenwriting partner Maurizio Braucci (“Martin Eden”) and Maud Ameline, with the participation of novelist Geneviève Brisac.

The 60th New York Film Festival unveiled its main slate from established and upcoming directors with Cannes’ Palme d’Or-winner Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund, Claire Denis’s Stars at Noon (tied for Cannes Grand Prize), Park Chan-wook’s Decision to Leave (Cannes Best Director), and Charlotte Wells’ debut feature Aftersun (Cannes’ French Touch Jury Prize).
